While the makers of Tanhaji: The unsung warrior are still unveiling the posters of various characters, lead actor Ajay Devgn, surprises his fans with yet another news. Today being Children’s Day, the actor announced the release of a comic book narrating the story of great Maratha warrior. The film team is said to have tied up with Amar Chitra Katha, to present this unique addition linking to their film. The actor shared a video of the same on his social media account made an official announcement on his Twitter handle.
His Tweet read, “History may not repeat itself but lessons of bravery & valour from our shur-veer yoddhas like Tanaji are a great example for our children. I'm happy to announce a special edition of Amar Chitra Katha featuring Tanhaji. In the video, we can see pages of this comic book flipping as the cover of the same emerges from the background. While the trailer of the film is set to release on November 19, 2019, this comic book shall enable the readers to run through the history and read about the courage of the great warrior Tanhaji.
As this biopic marks Ajay’s 100th film of his career, Badshah Shah Rukh Khan sharing the poster of his upcoming film, tweeted, “Here’s looking forward to another 100 and more films from my friend @ajaydevgn . All the best for this milestone...from striding atop two motorcycles at the same time...you’ve come a long long way....keep riding...and all the best for Tanhaji.”
